Sapa’s glass bridge, also known as Rong May Glass Bridge, is an ideal destination for those who love taking photos and want to fully admire the magnificent and harmonious natural scenery of the Northwest.

Officially opened in November 2019, Sapa’s glass bridge has become an increasingly popular tourist spot in Sapa. As the name suggests, visitors here can experience the feeling of hovering among the clouds at an altitude of over 2,000m above sea level.

Starting from the O Quy Ho Pass, the bridge is curved and closely hugged along the Hoang Lien Son mountain range, with a reach of nearly 60m outside the mountain cliff. The total length of the bridge is 300m, including four walkways that extend in four directions for visitors to experience walking in mid-air as well as move to the adventure gaming area.

How to get to Sapa’s glass bridge:

Although it belongs to Lai Chau province, Rong May tourist area is quite close to Sapa town, only about 18km away. Visitors from neighboring provinces can drive their own car or take a bus to Sapa, with a travel time of about 6-7 hours.

Entertainment activities at Rong May tourist area

After purchasing the ticket to visit the glass bridge, you will be guided to the elevator area inside the 70m-long mountain tunnel. Once you step into the transparent elevator, you will gradually ascend to the glass bridge while enjoying the panoramic view of O Quy Ho Pass and the Northwest mountain range below.

Walking on the clouds: Stroll along the glass walkways here at a leisurely pace. Visitors will feel like they are floating in the midst of a vast green space. If you are lucky enough to visit on cloudy days, you can even imagine yourself walking on fluffy white clouds.

Bungee jumping: If you are someone who loves thrilling experiences, you are no stranger to bungee jumping. At Dragon Cloud Tourist Area, players are equipped with safety gear. Secure harnesses before being dropped from a height of over 300m. This game brings a heart-pounding sensation, while also being incredibly exhilarating.

Zipline: Unlike free-falling bungee jumping, ziplining is a less “terrifying” option. As you are pulled down a long cable from the mountain top, you get to experience the lush green forest up close and personal. Providing a memorable opportunity to admire nature from a closer and more direct perspective.
